To Select Documents

In the Galaxy

• Click on a document dot using the arrow cursor. Select additional documents by CTRL-clicking them.
• To select all the documents in an area, click and drag a rectangle around them, using the arrow cursor. For additional keyboard shortcuts, see Refining Selections.
• Use the Probe tool. You can also select documents in ThemeView Classic with the Probe tool.

Using IN-SPIRE Tools

• Use the Search tool: hits are automatically selected.
• Use the Time tool: select documents by time period or by group in a time period.
• Use the Correlation tool: select a cell of correlated documents.

Using the Left Sidebar

• Use the Group Folder panel: select a group by double-clicking on the group, or right-click on the group and choose an option from the right-click menu (Select Group, Add Group to Selection, or Selection within current selection).

Using the Right Sidebar

• Use the Selection panel:
  • To select all documents: click the Clear selection button; then click the Reverse Selection button.
  • To select only currently unselected documents: click the Reverse Selection button.
  • To show only the selected documents: after selecting documents by any means, click the Focus button.
• Use the Groups panel: highlight the group in the Groups list, and click the Selectbutton.
